​​What is Build a Bike Night?

More Kids On Bikes is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Foster Love!
Based in Brea, California, Foster Love a dynamic 501(c)3 non-profit organization is committed to transforming the lives of foster youth in America. Together, MKOB & Foster Love will bring more bikes, and helmets, to children in our local foster care system.

Join volunteers, friends, and community members as we build 13 brand-new bikes for local children in foster care. 

Bike Build Teams will unpack, assemble, and decorate each bike.

Once complete, these bikes will be distributed locally by MKOB with the help of Foster Love in time for the holidays!

More Kids on Bikes has already sponsored the purchase of 13 new bikes, a $2,000 investment. Now we are asking our community to come together to help us build the bikes for our local foster youth!

​Ways To Participate

​1. Sign Up to be a "Team Captain"

• Form a Team....Gather friends, family, and/or coworkers and build together!

2. Coming Solo RSVP and Show Up Ready to Build!

• Don't have a team? No Problem just show up and we'll assign you to a bike building team!

• No tools or bike experience needed.​​

3. Spread the Word!

• Share the event on social media

• Text and email your friends and family to invite them to join you.

• Share with your local community!

4. Donate

• Can't attend but want to Donate to More Kids on Bikes a 501 3(c)?

• Your donation will go towards helping MKOB continue to build more bikes, fund more youth cycling programs and support our local youth mountain bike teams!

Location: Phoenixville Recreation Center, 501 Franklin Ave, Phoenixville, PA 19460

What Else?

​

• MKOB will sponsor the location, pizza, drinks, music and fun!  

• There will be a bike accessory donation bin at the event. Items to consider:

  • Bike gloves,

  • bike lights,

  • bells,

  • bike bags,

  • spare tubes,

  • small hydration packs, etc.​
